SUSAN MECKLER-PLUMMER, RN

Susan is founder of Minkahz NETs Mission. Originally from NY, she has over 20 years of experience as a registered nurse. After Susan lost her husband Larry of 35 years to high grade NETs, she decided it was time to help others on their journey. Her first step was creating a  volunteer Facebook group for the high grade community. Once her now-husband Toni and their new golden retriever Minkah arrived on the scene, Minkahz NETs Mission was officially born.

Susan is the recipient of prestigious the Monica Warner Award from Novartis Oncology, which honors a patient, supporter, or caregiver who embodies the passion, dedication, leadership, and spirit with which Monica Warner assisted patients, caregivers, and families affected by NETs.

Susan currently resides in Atlanta with her husband Toni and their golden retreiver Minkah. Together, they dedicate their lives to helping the community and working with doctors and the community at large to fundraise for research in the hopes of finding a cure for neuroendocrine cancers.
